Redcar Seafront Competition – “Market Harbour”
September 15th, 2008 by Russell Curtis (russellcurtis)These images are from RCKa’s entry to the Redcar Seafront competition. The competition called for innovative ideas for the regeneration of the historic promenade at Redcar on the North Sea coast.
RCKa’s scheme included a new multi-function platform projecting out to sea, forming a space for regular markets selling local produce, an outdoor cinema screen and artificial rockpools.
