Full-height bookcase with hidden door
November 14th, 2008 by Russell CurtisOur extension and refurbishment of a garden flat in Highgate is progressing well, as some of the built-in furniture and specialist joinery starts to arrive on site.
These works include a full-height pivoting bookcase, operated by a pneumatic floorspring, which opens to reveal a secret entrance to the master bedroom. The pictures here show the bookcase in both the open and shut postions.
