The Royal Academy of Arts have been running an exhibition called “Paper City: Urban Utopias” featuring a collection of sketches and illustrations which have featured on the back pages of Blueprint in recent years. CABE have published a new report “Housing market renewal: Action plan for delivering successful places” which features RCKa’s competition-winning proposal for Stoke-on-Trent.

The Architects’ Journal has published Hellman’s interpretation of the three winning Europan 9 schemes, including our entry for the Stoke-on-Trent site.

RCKa win Europan 9

It was announced on Wednesday night that RCKa have won the Europan 9 competition for their entry “City Slipway”. The award ceremony was held at New London Architecture at the Building Centre in central London.
The successful entries for each of the three sites (Stoke-on-Trent, Milton Keynes and Sheffield) form part of the “Competitions Work” exhibition which runs until 14th February 2008.
