Telegraph Hill flat refurbishment complete

The first-floor flat is located within a large Victorian townhouse, and the project has successfully introduced a new timber-lined kitchen into a large living space whilst respecting the traditional detailing of the property.

Highbury House Extension Complete
November 26th, 2008 by Russell Curtis (russellcurtis)RCKa’s extension to a large Victorian townhouse in Highbury has been completed on site. The project provides a new kitchen and dining area at the back of the property, and involved dropping the floor of the rear part of the house nearly a metre in order to provide a continuous floor level.

The project involves the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the internal spaces, and a new ground floor rear extension which is clad in heat-treated vertical timber cladding.
The contractor for the project was Andira Limited.

Cedar House featured in Saturday Guardian
November 11th, 2007 by Russell Curtis (russellcurtis)Cedar House, a new-build house in rural Norfolk, designed by Dieter Kleiner whilst working with Hudson Architects has featured in an article within Weekend Magazine, which accompanys the Guardian on Saturday.
The house uses a traditional rural form, but introduces crisp, contemporary detailing, and is clad from locally-produced cedar shingles.
