The Royal Academy of Arts have been running an exhibition called “Paper City: Urban Utopias” featuring a collection of sketches and illustrations which have featured on the back pages of Blueprint in recent years. Three Towers wins 2009 RIBA Award

The Three Towers project in Manchester, by Union North has won an RIBA Award for the north-west region. Tim Riley, now director of RCKa, was responsible for the design and implementation of the project, completed in 2008 for developer Urban Splash.

Europan 10 Launched

The Europan 10 competition launched yesterday, with 62 sites across 19 countries – significantly down on the 73 sites that took part in Europan 9. The UK is a noticeable absentee from this year’s competition, following CABE’s failure to identify any viable sites.

NaSBA Press Launch: Self Build as a volume housing solution
